Let's have some input on how we can get some things done, who really cares what happens to Snyder, and what we want to happen in our town.

What you can do in Snyder...
As a recent transplant, I have found that the people of Snyder are great, and you all are sitting on a great town. Two things from an outsiders perspective: #1. Let's get some more housing here! I have been here 3 weeks, and have not found a decent place to live. Housing sales, and housing rentals are close to non-existant, and if by the time that my fiancee finishes up her work and is moving here, if the living situation does not change, I will be forced to leave.
#2. Finish fixing up the down town area, with more resteraunts, possible apartments on the 2nd and 3rd floors, and make it a fun place to be. The beginnings are there with the 2 little resteraunts, and the Ritz. Let's get the rest of it rennovated, updated, cleaned up, and inhabited by some resteraunts and places that will attract people downtown. It is such a great place for events (such as this past weekends car show) that if all of the vacant shops were filled, it would be even that much better.
